Digital Showcase.

Before any meeting, any pitch, any submission — your website has already spoken for you. In life sciences and deeptech, a poorly executed digital presence does not just underperform: it actively raises doubts about the seriousness of the project behind it.

A website is not a brochure. It is an argument.

For a biotech spin-off, a website that looks improvised signals risk to an investor evaluating dozens of dossiers in a single day. For a Horizon Europe consortium, a website that cannot be found, updated, or understood by a general audience becomes a compliance liability at review time. For a research team, a digital platform that fails to engage its community undermines years of effort building scientific reputation.

Before a single page is designed, we define the site's purpose, its primary audiences, its information hierarchy, and its success criteria. A website built without this upstream work optimises for aesthetics over impact.

Visual design aligned with your brand identity — developed either from the Visual Identity established in M1, or built from scratch. Every design decision (typography, colour, layout, image direction) reflects the specific positioning of your project within its ecosystem.

All KOM websites are built on WordPress CMS with carefully selected and optimised commercial themes and plugins. Fully GDPR-compliant. Developed for SEO performance across major search engines. Responsive across all devices.

Unlimited monthly transfer. Ongoing technical maintenance, security updates, and content support — so your team focuses on the science, not the server.

For Horizon Europe consortia and doctoral networks operating over three to five years, KOM develops versioned websites that evolve with the project lifecycle: a networking version at launch, a public-facing version at consortium kick-off, a recruitment version when PhD positions open, and a final dissemination version for the closing phase.

For projects funded under Horizon Europe, all websites meet EU visual identity requirements and are structured to support the dissemination, exploitation, and communication obligations defined in your DEC plan. Content is produced in English as standard; multilingual architecture available on request.

A focused, investor-grade single-page site designed to reassure academic partners, institutional funders, and venture capital investors in the first thirty seconds of a visit. Fast, secure, strategically structured — the digital equivalent of a well-prepared first meeting.

Your digital presence is your first point of scientific credibility.

KOM designs and develops tailor-made digital solutions for the scientific ecosystem — websites, project platforms, and digital showcases built around one principle: every design decision, every content choice, every technical configuration serves a specific communication objective. Nine years of experience in life sciences and deeptech means we do not need to be taught what a doctoral network is, what an endowment fund does, or why a biotech investor reads a one-page site differently from an institutional partner. That domain knowledge is embedded in every project we deliver

DeepTech SAS

You are preparing your first investor meetings, your i-Lab application, or your Series A data room. A credible, well-structured website is part of the package that signals seriousness before the conversation begins. KOM delivers a one-page showcase that is built to reassure, fast to launch, and designed to evolve with your company.

Horizon Europe project coordinators

Your project website is a contractual deliverable, a recruitment tool, and a public engagement platform simultaneously. Managing its design, development, and evolution over four years while coordinating a multi-country consortium is not a task for a generalist agency. KOM has built and maintained websites for multiple active MSCA-DN projects and brings a documented methodology to every stage of the process.

Research teams, learned societies, and non-profit organisations

You need a digital platform that serves multiple audiences at once — expert peers, students, clinicians, patients, donors, institutional partners — with content that is both scientifically rigorous and publicly accessible. KOM designs the architecture and produces the content that makes this possible without compromise.

A digital platform built for a multidisciplinary EU research consortium — a case study.

menTOR Doctoral Network (MSCA)

The MENTOR Doctoral Network is an MSCA-funded programme focused on the metabolic control of cell growth by mTOR in pathophysiology — a central signalling hub whose aberrant activation underlies a wide range of conditions, from rare genetic mTORopathies to age-related diseases including cancer, obesity, and diabetes. MENTOR The network brings together 18 doctoral candidates across multiple European institutions, coordinated by Université Paris-Cité. The digital challenge was substantial. A network of this complexity — multiple supervisors, 18 doctoral candidate positions, three research work packages, a structured training programme, an events calendar, and active communication obligations toward the REA — requires a website that functions simultaneously as a scientific showcase, a recruitment platform, a news hub, and a compliance tool.
